Animal TV is an innovative new comedy series for CBBC, combining specially shot sketches with animal characters, archive and UGC to create “a TV channel run by animals, for animals. With a cast of talented (human) comedy performers, ATV uses a variety of innovative, low cost, high impact visual styles to create an engaging and hilarious cast of animal ‘presenters’ and ‘stars’, from low cost CGI, puppetry, live action and graphics to silly props, costumes and face-painting.

We developed the format with Jack Cheshire and Wade McElwain and were lucky enough to be commissioned by the BBC to produce 20 short form episodes. Tilly the company dogs body had a starring role and David built all the sets!

The series was broadcast on CBBC as well as the BBC’s online platforms.
